Chapter 3 talks about living lives with optimism and zeal, just like St. Paul the Apostle did. Do you think you tend to be an optimistic and zealous person when it comes to your faith? Or do you think this is an area you could work on? What do you think it means to live your faith with optimism and zeal, realistically. What I mean is, what are some things you can and will actually do as a 12/13 year old living in Chicago to live your faith with more optimism and zeal?
A reminder, you need to make sure you are using correct grammar, punctuation and spelling to the best of your ability. Many of you are writing without capitalization and using run on sentences. Many of you are repeating your thoughts just to fulfill the sentence requirements or make your comment look larger. You are graded on content, not just length. These responses should be 5-7 sentences in length.
Enjoy your weekend and I will see you all Monday.
Yes i do think i would be a zealous person when it comes to my faith. I wold put all my faith in God in good times and in bad times. What this means that you should never duout God because he will never leave you and, he will always answer your prayers.
ReplyDeleteI think I tend to be optimistic and zealous most of the time when it comes to my faith but I still need work in some areas also. For example:When I am worried or scared about something or someone I can pray to God and ask for help, courage, and some bravery and after the prayer I will feel relaxed and a lot better. As a 13 year old living in Chicago I can live my faith in many ways. For example I can contribute in or start a food drive; or I can help out at a pet shelter by keeping the animals company. I can also live my faith by doing litte and simple things like shoveling my neighbors yard or cheering up a friend when their feeling sad. It's the little things that you do that count not just the big things.
ReplyDeleteI'm am a optimistic and zealous person when it comes to my faith but that is not always the case. I'm always to hard on myself my mom says, and that is my biggest flaw. I know God is right be my side every step of the way. What it means to optimistic is that you always look at everything in a positive way. What it mean to be zealous is to be determined. What I can do as a 12 year old living in Chicago Illinois is I can donate some of my old clothes to the Salvation Army. I can give food to the food drive at school. I could also give some money to the mission banks Mr. Chun does. Not having faith in myself is my biggest flaw but that doesn't mean I don’t have faith in God.
ReplyDeleteI'm sometimes a zealous person for a 13 year old. But I can work on it. For example I should be more enthusiastic with my faith. I can also contribute to one another, to the Church, and to my community. I should also be more enthusiastic about myself. I can take care about myself and one another.
ReplyDeleteI am a zealous and an optimistic when it comes to faith because i go to Church at least every week or twice a week. I go to pray and recieve the Body of Christ and live as faithfull followers in the first and second life. As a 13 year old i can help homeless people strive and be healthy in health and spirit. To do this i can go to a soup kitchen and serve them soup and recommend going to christian church to learn more about there faith.
ReplyDeleteI can be optimistic and zealous at sometimes, but I think I need to work on it.What i mean by this as a 13 year old a you dont always want to go to church. But I also like being a christian and im very proud of being one.also when I reecieve the Body of Christ I feel zealous. When im in a bad situation I keep my faith and im optimistic.
ReplyDeleteI think I am both optimist and zealous when it comes to faith because I will always look on the bright side when something is bad and I am always hard working when it comes to my faith. But I think i can work on my faith. this is because i am not always thrilled about my faith. As a 12 year old living in Chicago i think i can going to see the elder and help them, I think i could start going to soup kitchen and feed the homeless and I think i should go to Church a lot more.
ReplyDeleteI can be both optimistic and zealous when comes to my faith but I think it still needs more a little more work. To live optimistic and zealous I think it means to have a strong faith with God and that you should be praying every time you need help or someone to talk to. As a 12 year old living in Chicago, I can build up my faith by helping at homless shelters and by going to chuch not only for holidays, but to confess my sins.
ReplyDeleteI feel that i can have more optimism and zeal when to comes to my faith. I feel that i can work on this more. To have faith with optimism and zeal, to me, means to always help others, go to Church as often as possible,to follow the Ten Commandments, and to just be happy to be a part of God;s family. I don't go to Church on Sundays unless it is Palm Sunday, Easter, or Christmas. I also don't always follow the Ten Commandments. As a 13 year-old, Iam going to try and go to Church more often, help others, follow the Ten Commandments, and do more volunteer work
ReplyDeleteI think that I do need to work on being a more optimistic a I and zealous person. I think that I can do this by going to church on every Sunday, not just on Christmas and Easter, help other people understand our faith a little more, and take care of myself and others. Having more optimism and zeal with my faith to me means that I should embrace my religion and help others embrace it to.I also think I should not only go to church myself but encourage others to go to church to.
ReplyDeleteI think I tend to have optimistic and zeal when it comes to my faith. Being an optimistic and zealous person means that you go to church every sundy not just on holidays and help understand faith. As a 12 year old living in chicago what i can do to live my faith with more optimism and zeal is going to church more and not just when we go together in school, helping others who need help, following God's law's, and helping others understand having faith in God.
ReplyDeleteI think that i need to be more optimistic and zealous about my faith. I need to go to church more often instead of holidays and special occasions. I need to pray and talk to God more often instead of just praying before I go to bed. I can go volunteer at a church organization, teach my little cousin about god,and pray before every meal. I will try harder to do these things more often.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is really important to be zealous and optimistic for my faith. I have never gone to church often, but i need to go more often. I have only gone to church on holidays and special occasions. I have to be more enthusiastic about church and other religious activities in the future.
DeleteI for the most part of the time I'm not that zealous and optimistic because I'm always focused on a problem. But when I'm not focused on a problem i am very zealous and optimistic. but that's something i can work on, because when were with God (A.K.A. always)anything is possible.
